How to interpret
PTR maps an IP to a hostname and is controlled by the IP block provider, not necessarily the domain’s DNS provider. For email, check that the name resolves back to the same IP via A/AAAA. Missing PTR can affect acceptance, but an existing PTR does not authenticate a sender. Request changes from the party allocating the IP.
